The first winners of a prestigious annual scholarship set up by his family in memory of the late Peter Vaughan (pictured left), local resident of Worthing, have been announced by Worthing College. Awarded on an annual basis, this scholarship is designed to encourage aspiration and success in progression to a Russell Group University amongst Worthing College students who are part of its ‘First Generation’ scholars, whose parent/s have not accessed a university education.
