We’re super proud of our Maths students who have been involved in the Senior Mathematical Challenge (a national competition run by UKMT (United Kingdom Mathematics Trust)). 28 students achieved certificates, consisting of 9 bronze, 16 silver and 3 gold! The challenge uses multiple choice questions designed to test the students' aptitude for problem solving.
The 3 students who achieved gold awards then qualified to take part in the follow up competition called Kangaroo. Sam Lennard gained a merit in the Kangaroo competition and also gained the best in Year 13 and best in school! Alex Baker also achieved a merit in Kangaroo and was best in Year 12.
